MEA + Gentamicin Petri Dishes (Malt Extract Agar) Plates

Easy to use pre-poured malt extract agar petri dishes (MEA plates) for the detection of yeasts, molds,and other fungus.

*Parafilm is never pre-applied. If Parafilm option is selected, you will receive enough Parafilm to wrap the amount of dishes you order. Packaged in an envelope. For example, the amount of Parafilm included for 25 dishes is 25″ x 4″ worth. If you select double, you will receive twice the amount.

Contains Gentamicin Sulfate Antibiotics to help prevent contamination. Works the same as plates without antibiotics, and can be used in the same ways. We are not aware of any real downside to using antibiotic agar, and the upsides are significant.
